Mid-Ohio Railroad

Layout Description

The Mid-Ohio Railroad is a modern class 3 proto freelanced short line based on the B&O(CSX) Lake Erie subdivision. The prototype line is a G&W branch leased from CSX and continues to operate 1-2 times per week with several customers.
Operating with Proto-Throttles and Sergent Engineering couplers a two-man crew will switch multiple industries in a session. Inspired by Lance Mindheim, operations are meant to be slowed down with switches to be unlocked and derails to be thrown.
Industries include a grain elevator, transload facility, plastics manufacturer and food industries.
