A modern day freelanced layout of the Union Pacific line between 18th St yard in Kansas City Kansas and Gibbon Jct Nebraska. This line is comprised of 2 subdivisions. There is also a Kansas City Terminal RR industrial switching area, a BNSF local area in Topeka KS, a small yard and large grain elevator at Marysville KS, a large intermodal terminal at Hastings NE with a BNSF staging connection, a power plant at West Topeka KS. This is a 3 level layout and unfortunately the isles are narrow. There are 3 locals and up to 34 through freights. Several of the trains have work en route so there is a lot of action. The jobs consist of 18th St yardmaster, dispatcher and up to 7 road operators. There is very little scenery at this time. Its all about operations!
